1st Day; - Depart Home – Arrive Addis Ababa Your Professional Guide will meet you at reception at 13: 30 [after lunch]. This day you will drive to Entoto hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole city of Addis Ababa at a view point, St. Mary’s church, museum and old minilik II palace then drive back down to the city to visit Ethiopian National museum where, ‘Lucy’ a 3.18 year old hominid fossil is housed. On the way you will visit the freedom monument which is erected in 1943 to tell the world, Ethiopia the African country is free from any colonial rule. As soon as you check in to the museum turn to your right side, it appears to be a 1930 FORD Model a Deluxe Roadster. By then head to interior part of the museum and visit the human kind footprint, archeological potteries, cultural life of ancient Ethiopia and painting including handcrafts. 2nd Day: - Fly Addis Ababa - Bahar DarUp on arrival our driver will wait you at the air port and take you to your hotel for check in then you will drive to blue Nile 72 km from Bahir Dar to Blue Nile fall. You will be back to Bahir Dar for lunch and after lunch you have a boat trip on Lake Tana, the largest highland Lake in Ethiopia. Overnight; - Standard Hotel- Bahirdar
3rd Day; - Bahar Dar – GondarThis day having your breakfast early in the morning you will drive about 180 km from Bahir Dar to Gondar. You will check in first and start visiting churches the Castel and the bath.Overnight: - Standard Hotel- Gondar
4th Day; - Gondar - Simien Mount NPDrive to Debark town (100 Kms), where the head quarter of Simien Mountains National Park is found. Then we continue driving to Sankaber (31 Kms) the first campsite of the National Park. On this drive you will gain your first impression of the scale and beauty of this highland region, the extraordinary scenery, enjoying the endemic Gelada Baboons and the bone breaker giant bird Lammergeyer roaring around. 5th Day; - Trekking from Sankaber to GeechWe drive from Sankaber to Geech, which will take between 5 - 6 hours. After about 1 and half hours we will see the Jinnbar River and falls, and we will ascend for about two hour to Geech, which is full of Giant Lobelias. The scenery is wonderful, and herd of the endemic Gelada Baboon can be seen on our way and possibly you will find the walya Ibex. Drive back to sankaber for overnight at lodge
6th Day; - Sankaber- Debark - Axum Take a scenic drive to Axum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Frequently stops for site seeing at viewpoints along the way to Axum. Arrive in Axum late afternoon. Overnight; -Standard Hotel, Axum
7th Day; - Tour of ancient city of AxumTour the ancient stelae fields, standing for 2000 years. Visit the new and impressive Archeological Museum. Visit other tombs and archeological sites as time permits. Overnight; - Standard Hotel, Axum
8th Day; - Drive to Mekele Drive to Mekele passing the Adwa battlefield, site of Emperor Menelik II's 1895 victory over the invading Italians. Visit the 2,500 year old ruins of Yeha, an ancient moon temple. Visit two of Tigray's remote and ancient rock-hewn churches: Wukro Chirkos and Abreha Atsbeha. The continue driving to mekele. 9th Day; - Mekele – Llibela Drive on a scenic road to Lalibela. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset from the terrace. Overnight; - Standard hotel, Lalibela
10th Day; - City Tour in Lalibela Tour the magnificent rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Overnight; - standard hotel, Lalibela 11th Day; - Fly to Addis Ababa Up on your arrival at bole air port from lalibela our representative will meet you and assist your transfer to your hotel for check in. This day you will visit the largest open air market in Africa and shopping souvenir. Finally enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant featuring dancers and musicians representing some of the country's many ethnic groups. Finally transfer to airport to fly back home.
