2nd Day; 18 Jan: - City Tour Addis Ababa. Your Professional Guide will meet you at reception at 13: 30 [after lunch]. This day you will drive to Entoto hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole city of Addis Ababa at a view point, St. Mary’s church, museum and old minilik II palace then drive back down to the city to visit Ethiopian National. On the way to Entoto from your hotel you will visit the freedom monument which is erected in 1943 to tell the world, Ethiopia the African country is free from any colonial rule. As soon as you check in to the museum turn to your right side, it appears to be a 1930 FORD Model a Deluxe Roadster. By then head to interior part of the museum and visit the human kind footprint, archeological potteries, cultural life of ancient Ethiopia and painting including handcrafts. Though this we will drive to Grand market Merkato in order to visit the biggest trade exchanges held at open air market in Africa. Latterly back to your Hotel. 3rd Day: 19 Jan: - City Tour and Attending eve of Epiphany.Right after breakfast your visiting will be the Ethological museum.. 9th Day; - 25 Jan:-Drive from Arbaminch to Turmi. Depart from ArbaMinch to Turmi. On the way you will pass through the village of Konso, Weyto (market day Saturday), which is home to the Tsemai tribe. Continue through the Weyto Valley to Erbore, where you will have a brief visit to a local Erbore village (market day is Saturday). Finally, proceed to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe. 10th Day, 26 Jan: - Turmi - Murelle- TurmiToday we will depart from Turmi to the villages of Murulle, Kolcho and Dus on the shores of the Omo River. The Karo people are the smallest in number of all of the tribes of the Omo Valley, and they are known for their elaborate decorations, particularly during local ceremonies. Afterwards, return to Turmi (Monday is market day) for a visit to a local Hamer village. If there is jumping of the Bulls traditional Hamer coming-of-age ceremony that will be visited. 11th Day 27 Jan: - Turmi – Omorate- Jinka.On the morning you will drive to Omorate and visit desenech and back to Turmi and Depart for Jinka, via Dimeka and Key Afar. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days in Dimeka, which is one of the most colorful markets in the area and is visited by many tribes, including Hamer, Benna and Karo. Afterwards, continue to Jinka. 12th Day; - 28 Jan: - Jinka - Mursi – Arbaminch In the morning, drive through the Mago National Park to a local village of the Mursi tribe. The Mursi are known for their lower lip and earlobe plates. In the afternoon drive back to Arbaminch. Overnight; - Standard Hotel, Arbaminch
13th Day; - 29 Jan: - Arba minch –Addis AbabaEarly in the morning, depart from Arba Minch for a full day’s drive to Addis Ababa. On the way you may have time to visit one of the archeological sites called Tiya - ancient Stella field and UNESCO World Heritage site and proceed to Addis Ababa. Up on arrival you will check in for short break and will leave your hotel for traditional dinner where you will enjoy Ethiopian traditional food and live traditional music and dance.
